I went for a simple way to try the metallics trend, a silver anorak! very easy in the morning, as I just had to get dressed as normal and then put on the jacket on top. So just don't over do it and wear like, gold, sequin leggings or something and you'll be fine (although to be honest, that could be a look in its own right.)

The anorak didn't really interfere with cycling, it just got a bit sweaty. Obviously you could try out the metallics trend with any item of clothing, it doesn't have to me an anorak, and dependant on which item you choose it will either affect or not affect the cycle.

As this is a jacket I wasn't really wearing it all day everyday, but it was pretty comfy when I was wearing it. It loses a mark because this particular jacket is not particularly warm.

I love other metallic items that I see my friends wearing and I think metallics CAN look fabulous, but in my case it didn't really work. Not having the right gear and not wanting to spend £30 plus on something to wear for a week led to this outfit's downfall.

This look is so easy to accomplish and the best part is it looks like you put in a fair bit of effort. Dresses always make you look a bit more polished even when they are dressed down in this way. I really like this look because it is super casual yet also quite smart.

Its been below zero degrees for the last two weeks, and there was just no way I was going to cycle in this. Even walking to the bus stop was ridiculous and only managed to wear this for one day. WHY DID I NOT TRY THIS TREND EARLIER IN THE SEASON!?!?!?

This outfit would have gotten full marks if it wasn't for the cold. My flat's heating is broken, the uni is always cold and outside was even colder. Certainly not a warm trend, I'll tell you that for free! The upside is that it is otherwise a comfortable outfit, just maybe not for students in November.

I really like this look and have admired it for a while but I didn't have the right kind of dress to really pull this look off, it should be more of a slip dress kind of thing, but I really like the way it looks! I think I'm going to put 'black slip dress' on my shopping list so I can wear this properly. And a pair of warm tights.

A lower score than previous weeks, not due to the trend itself, which I love, but for the reason that it is simply too cold in November in Aberdeen to be shooting around in a dress with no tights. I will definitely be wearing this again, just not until our heating gets fixed or the seasons change.

Literally the easiest thing ever. Pull on a pair of running leggings, a sports bra and a top of any kind and there you have it. Done. The thing I love about this style is that when you put it on you instantly look like you jog. I don't jog. I hate jogging. But the illusion is there. The only problem with running leggings is the dreaded VPL (Not that you should really care that people know you're wearing pants) but this is easily avoided with the correct underwear.  (Hint: I'm talking about thongs *shock*)

I love the sporty look, I'd say I'm relatively sporty myself and I like how this makes me feel healthy and active (even when I'm not.) This look is so comfortable and it makes me feel at ease. In some ways though, the fact that I always look like I've come straight from the gym makes me feel a bit like a fake, because well, I haven't.

My inner lazy girl absolutely LOVES this look, but I'd probably get tired of it pretty quickly. Also I think people might start thinking I'm on a 'Fitness Journey' and wonder why I'm not getting any thinner and why I'm still eating mac and cheese 3 times a week.

A very high score this week! Definitely top on the comfort scale so far and an easy look to create.

Before I start this post I would like to mention/apologise/explain that my mother (who happens to be hilariously bad at taking photos) was taking my photos this week since I am at home. I am laughing or talking in every photo because I was trying to explain to her how to use a camera and laughing at her concentration face.

A very simple way to look like you put in an effort when in reality zero effort was needed. I also in one night got 4 different friends compliment my 'new' jacket. I have in fact owned this coat for 4 years now (ahead of the curve if you ask me.) (joking.) I think that the reason I haven't worn this coat much before was I always thought it looked fancy and when I wore it I would dress fancy and end up looking... well... fancy. I don't really do fancy. I'm clumsy and loud and have not a single ounce of elegance to my name. Styling this with a much more casual outfit made more sense for me, as it dressed up the outfit and the outfit dressed down the coat.

Not bad at all, just a bit flappy. Definitely had to sit on the coat, letting it flap freely behind was not an option as it kept hitting the tyre and could have got caught. Also, unwanted superman connotations.

very warm and cosy. VERY much needed as the temperature in Aberdeen has plummeted in the past week leaving students all across the city torn between paying for heating or putting on a third dressing gown. The beauty of a coat is that you can take it off when you get to class so you don't have to sit around in it, meaning it doesn't really get a chance to be un-comfy. It loses a mark for the reason that it is not comfy enough to sit around the flat in.

I don't know if its the scarlet colour or the slightly padded shoulders but this coat makes me feel like a boss, and thats class.
